This is a laser cut sign from one of the three towns I spent the majority of my time growing up in Idaho: Coeur d’ Alene!In French it means, “The heart of the Awl, but for me it means home.
I made this word illustration a few years ago, but thought it would look great on this block of wood I found at a salvage store. It came from a woodworking shop that gives their beautiful remnants to a second use salvage store. Engraved on a glowforge laser cutter. Unfinished/unstained. drawn, designed and fabricated by me!
