Sticky Treats! Smell My Feet! Give Me Something Good to Eat!
There is no better way to let someone know that you are missing them this year for Halloween than a nice card in the mail — except maybe a big ol' bag of candy to ship along with it too! Let them know just how much your sweet tooth aches to see them. Cards are good every year, but this year is well, "extra special."
I designed this "Sticky" Candy Apple card starting in Pro Create on my Ipad Pro, then moved it into InDesign to add the text and chose a darkish black/grey color that was still light and fun, kind of a vintage Halloween color, and let the candy be the star.
This card is made from a 130# Uncoated card stock — that means they are extra thick and sturdy, so when your recipient picks it up, they will feel the difference in the quality. Uncoated means it will be softer to the touch, and I feel having no gloss gives it an extra "handmade" feel.
